Just a few days ago we decided to start Josie on solid foods. Well, not exactly solid. A little rice cereal with some breast milk mixed in. As you can see from that picture, she didn't exactly like it. Tonight was the third time we gave it to her and she did a little better. She ate more than she wore, but really she only ate about a teaspoon and a half if even that much. We're taking it slow. She's only four months old, so some would say it's not time yet. But she stares at us intently when we eat. I could swear her eyes are pleading for some of our food. LOL! Maybe early in 2008 we can start her on real solids like Gerber veggies and fruits. I'm a little anxious for her to be able to eat more than breast milk. I don't really enjoy breastfeeding, but I do it because I love her and know it's best for her. I didn't get to do it full time with Kenzie, so really I'm not complaining. But I'd like to be able to go somewhere without her. I'm starting to miss me, you know?

That is a funny picture Natalie. She is getting so big. I love the picture. What a doll
Oh, does this ever bring back memories!
LOL at the look on her face! I think my kids made the same face the first time they tried solids.
