Thursday Thirteen - Apr 17

I'm going to stray from my usual Thursday Thirteen of listing 13 terms people searched and found me. But for all of you who asked how I find out...I use statcounter.com. :) Today I'm going to list 13 things we bought today at the store...I hate spending money! Gah!

1. A paper shredder. We have so much stuff that needs to be shredded...stupid junk mail!

2. Black nail polish. No we're not Gothic or anything (not that there's anything wrong with that). Our car stereo dials are black and the paint is wearing off. My husband wants to see if the nail polish will help it look a little better.

3. Clorox wipes.

4. Biter Biscuits. My baby had her first cracker today...sniff, sniff. She's growing up so fast!

5. Whole wheat flour. I love making bread!

6. Frozen stir-fry vegetables. Mmmm!

7. Security envelopes.

8. Crystal Light drink mix. We had to buy this. Ever since we ran out we've been drinking so much milk. Now, I know milk is good for you and all. But it costs $4.50 a gallon here...that's not cheap!

9. Eggs.

10. Strawberries. Yum!

11. Mozzarella cheese. We're having homemade pizza later this week. :)

12. A car air freshner refill.

13. Batteries. Needed for a remote control.

If you're a parent or grandparent don't forget to check out my giveaways. You can see the links to them in the sidebar at the top. :)

No. 6 makes my mouth water. We bought egg rolls today that were too bad to be bad! Stir fry tomorrow, thanks to your inspiration!

That is an eclectic shopping list! Mine is usually just as bad though. I hate shopping too and only have the necessities for the week on the list.

Flour, eggs, strawberries, cheese, hmmm. Your making a strawberry cheese cake. Clorox wipes give cheese cake that extra tartness!

My Thursday Thirteen #76 is up. 13 Things about me that start with J.

Bummer about the price of milk! We can usually still get it for $3.oo a gallon here (the advantage of having lots of stores in competition).

We use our shredder for anything that has our names or address on it. Especially those pre-qualifies credit card offers. The shredded paper makes very good packing when I'm wrapping up stuff I sell on eBay. No need to buy Styrofoam peanuts or bubblewrap.

1, 2, 6 and 10!!! But wait, I buy black nail polish for nails...your idea is okay too. LOL [but I didn't know anyone 'til now that doesn't like to spend money!!!]

I was watching the Yankees/Sox game last night, did the Sox win? I gotta go check the mlb scoreboard now that I'm here and your blog reminded me.

My 13 movie stills is shared for T-13 this week. Come by if you can.

15-9?!!! Man o man...when I switched off to listen to the debates the Red Sox had tied the score...what happened?

We've had a paper shredder for a while... but my husband still insists on tearing up things by hand. *rolling my eyes* Apparently the satisfaction of ripping up paper outweighs the gadgety-ness of the shredder.
