My Plate-Mate Giveaway

I recently came across a product called My Plate-Mate. This product is the solution to meal time messes for your young self-feeder. My daughter takes great pride in feeding herself, but sometimes I swear the table ends up with more food on it than she ends up eating. But with My Plate-Mate she could easily help prevent those spills and messes.

So, you might be wondering how exactly My Plate-Mate works. Well, it's easy...you simply stretch it to fit around your child's plate, then when they're scooping their food up it ends up on the fork/spoon and not on the table. Simple, right? When they're done eating it's easy to remove and clean for the next meal. And your child's confidence soars.

Michele Wong and Paige Akabane are the brains behind My Plate-Mate. They brought together their experience as moms, career women, spouses and nurturers to create this helpful product that will be a great learning tool for any young one learning to self-feed. It's easy, it's convenient and it will help give you a pleasant dining experience.

With all the talk lately of toxins in plastics, you can rest assured that My Plate-Mate is made of FDA approved materials that is free of lead, BPA and pthalates.

And I have fantastic news for you! One lucky reader is getting a My Plate-Mate in the color of their choice (white, blue, pink). All you have to do is visit My Plate-Mate then come back here and leave me a comment telling me why you would love a My Plate-Mate of your own based on what you read over there. Don't forget to leave me a valid email address so I can reach you if you win. Good luck! You have until June 16th at noon MDT to enter. I'll be picking a winner using random.org soon after.

Do you want one of your own and can't wait to see if you're the winner? You can get 10% off an online order using the code: MESSFREE.

I'd love one of these. Jakey is always pushing food off his plate when trying to pick it up with his spoon or fork. Makes such a mess, this would be so handy.

I'd really love this because I have found that kids have a really difficult time using utensils, which in turn usually causes a huge mess. I'd love this to help them successfully learn to use a utensil. Thanks!

I want one of these so bad for Nicholai. With being able to put it around his plate and he wouldn't push the food ALL OVER the table would be awesome! I also like the fact that the lip also helps get and keep it on the fork.

Yes, yes, yes...this is what's been needed in my home all along. Even though my youngest is now 5, she cant quite get the food on her spoon or fork with out dropping about 90% on the table and onto the floor.

Great contest, would love to win!!!

What a fabulous idea!! I'd love a plate mate because it'd help minimize the mess my sweet Kya always seems to make while trying to feed herself, plus these are Lead Free, No BPA or Phthalates! AWESOME!!!

Now isn't that just the cleverest thing! My youngest is still pretty messy and this would be great for her. Seriously, this is so smart. Why didn't I think of it? lol

Those look great! I did my student teaching with children who had severe multiple disabilities. Those plates would be excellent for people with disabilities too! Very Cool!

These are perfect! I would love one because I have a toddler who pushes her food off of her plate when she is trying to get it on her fork. How perfect!!

I would love to have one of these b/c I would bet that my son would eat a hole lot better on a big boy plate like daddy and he could do this with a plate mate!

This is a really neat idea! I like that it is safe, lead-free etc., and dishwasher safe is always a plus. My son is just learning how to eat on his own, and this would be super helpful!
