Hamilton Beach blenders *giveaway*

One of my favorite parts about Summer are the refreshing foods and drinks that are served up all season long. That includes fruity, refreshing smoothies. Yum! So when I was asked to test out the Hamilton Beach Thermal Cooler Blender I couldn't resist. We've been having problems with our blender for awhile and I was afraid I was going to spend the Summer without my favorite smoothies. But this uniquely awesome blender showed up on my doorstep yesterday and we immediately put it to work.

First we used the glass jar to make our smoothies. It worked great and my husband was completely impressed with the wave action. Our smoothies were smooth and delicious! Today we decided to try out the thermal jar and see how it works. I've never seen a blender that doubled as a cooler before so I was curious to see how it worked. It made the same quality smoothie as the glass jar, although we did have to keep taking the lid off to see just how blended it was.

Ok, so you might be asking yourself...why have a thermal jar that doubles as a blender? Well...it's simple. You mix up your smoothie, shake or icy drink and then go. It will keep it chilled and frosty for up to 8 hours. It's perfect when you're headed out to that baseball game, parade or picnic. Since you're transporting it in the same container you made it in you don't have to clean up the blender before you go. Just blend and go, it's super convenient!

This 48 oz jar features a handle for convenience that folds out of the way so you can add your mix-ins and screw on the lid...complete with a pour spout. The blender features 10 speeds and a 500-watt peak-power motor. The blades, lids and jars are all dishwasher safe. You can purchase the blender with just the thermal jar or with both the thermal and glass jar.

The Thermal Cooler Blender isn't the only cool blender Hamilton Beach has. They also have a Single-Serve Blender that's perfect for making your smoothie, shake or icy drink for on the go or when you're just making one serving. The blender jar fits in most car drink holders so you can pack it with you on your commute or just your drive to the carpool line. Now there's no more need to clean a big old blender when you're making just one serving. It's also compact which makes for easy storage.

One lucky Red Sox Mommy reader will win one of these Single-Serve Blender's for their very own! To enter:

- Visit Hamilton Beach and take a look around. Then come back here and leave me a comment letting me know what item interested you most. Don't forget to leave a valid email address so I can contact you if you win.

* dash of sour mix
* strawberry and/or pineapple for garnish
