I was recently asked to review the perfect book for any Red Sox obsessed person, which I totally am. What I had the pleasure of reading was The Prince of Fenway Park by Julianna Baggott. This isn't your typical baseball book. It mixes the history of the most awesome team in baseball's history with an exciting world of cursed creatures. A young orphan name Oscar goes through quite an adventure as he does what he can to break the 86 year curse that plagued both the Red Sox and an unknown world of cursed creatures living in a crazy world under Fenway Park.
This book was definitely full of adventure and history. Young baseball fans are sure to love it's mix of fiction and non-fiction and non-baseball fans will still love the adventure that surrounds the breaking of the curse. So if your tweens are looking for something to read this Summer I would definitely suggest checking this book out.
