This picture was taken on a much happier day. It was back in July, the last game before the All-Star break. My daughter's first game at Fenway Park, also her first baseball game ever. The Sox were awesome, Beckett went 9 shutout innings, it was a great win! And now it's today, the Sox were swept by the Angels and the season for my beloved Red Sox is over.
Now if you don't mind, I'll be off in a corner in a fetal position crying for a bit.

I'm right there with you. I can not believe it. We so had it. We had it. Then, oh forget it. I don't want to talk about it. Just know you're not alone.
I am a huge redsox fan as well and have been crying and drinking too much since they BLEW the series and the season for NO DARN GOOD REASON!! I feel your pain.

I am sad they are done, too. I think this rollercoaster towards the end was bound to become derailed, though. They've been slightly iffy for a while...
We all feel your pain. I can't believe they fell 3 straight.
And...just to make matters WORSE the Patriots lost to the stinking BRONCOS! It's a sad day in New England!

Natalie, I was right there with you on Sunday! It was horrible--I could not believe that they lost! I'm never read for the Sox season to be over, but this was the pits.
