Once In A Blue Moon *giveaway*

A couple of years ago I was pretty disgusted with myself. I'd fallen out of the habit of reading and couldn't seem to plunge myself back into it. So I literally forced myself to start reading again. And now, thankfully, I'm back to being an avid reader. So when One2One Network offered to send the newest book by Eileen Goudge to me to read and review I couldn't resist. It sounded intriguing and like something that I would enjoy. And I'm happy to report that it didn't disappoint.

Here's how the author herself describes Once in a Blue Moon (quoted from http://eileengoudge.com):
Set in a fictional coastal town in Northern California, where I grew up, it's the story of two sisters separated at a young age, who reunite in adulthood. There's drama aplenty as well as mishaps, misunderstandings and general mayhem. Not to mention romance, which the sisters find in the unlikeliest of places.

I loved the colorful characters of Karrie Ann and Miss Honi Love, I felt a connection to more subdued Lindsay and crossed my fingers when it came to their love interests hoping they'd choose the one I liked. This book showed the ups and downs in life as you fight for what you want most whether it's love, keeping your land or getting your daughter back out of foster care after messing up royally. This book was real and totally believable making it easy to relate to.

I took this book everywhere with me for a few days, from soccer practice to ballet class to the bathtub, sneaking in a chapter here and there so I could find out what was going to happen next. I even stayed up late last night because I wanted so badly to finish it...and I did!

I would definitely recommend this book! And lucky for you all because it became available in stores yesterday! And even more lucky for you...ONE LUCKY RED SOX MOMMY READER WILL WIN NOT ONLY ONCE IN A BLUE MOON BUT A COPY OF WOMAN IN RED TOO! I'm a little jealous, if Woman in Red is anything like Once in a Blue Moon then it's sure to be great!

Someone gave me about a dozen books, and I've been reading steadily for the last month or two. When you ask for a NAME...I really don't remember. There were TOO many of them. But I DO know that I enjoy Danielle Steele's book all the time.
