A Sneak Peek

We're on day 7 of no plumbing issues (aside from a toilet that needs to be sealed better...the wax ring is oozing out...gross, I know!). Yay for that! So, since we haven't been knee deep into the red trying to find ways to pay plumbers, we've actually had some time to unpack and start the decorating.

This picture is a very rough draft of what it will look like. We're still working on the trim, thus the blue tape, and I need to iron the curtains. But here's the lamp I got for my birthday. After I took this I realized I needed to slide it to the right a bit and have since done so. But here you go, this is some of the only decorating that's been done thus far. But I love that things are starting to come together.

I have a great FLOR carpet rug for the same room, but found that one of the tiles is missing. So I'm awaiting that before this room can really be done...for the time being. I have a feeling this room (the living room) will be a work in progress for awhile. We don't have a lot of furniture so it will be a very sparse room for a bit. But that's ok, it will give us plenty of time to shop around to find what we really want.

Question though...what would you put on the lower shelf of this table? Keep in mind I have a two year old, so it can't be anything fragile.
