Yoplait Save Lids to Save Lives *giveaway*

Did you know that according to the American Cancer Society, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in her life? That's pretty scary! In fact, I'd be willing to bet that you know someone who has had or currently has breast cancer. My paternal grandmother is a breast cancer survivor and for that I am so grateful! I can't imagine not having had her in my life as I grew up.

Yoplait, my all time favorite brand of yogurt, has once again teamed up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure® with their "Save Lids to Save Lives" program. When you buy your yogurt this month look for the Yoplait flavors with the pink lids. When you mail those lids in Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® up to $1.5 million with a guaranteed donation of $500,000. It's such a simple thing to do! You have until December 31, 2009 to mail in your lids. For more details on how you can send your lids in visit Yoplait's Save Lids to Save Lives homepage. While you're there you can even set up online lid collection teams so you can easily get your friends and family involved and you can read and view videos by Dr. Funk, Founder of the Pink Lotus Breast Center in Beverly Hills.

MyBlogSpark sent me a coupon to get a package of Yoplait YoPlus as well as the cancer awareness bracelet and leather case pictured above AND they're letting me give one of these "Promise to Make a Difference" gifts to one Red Sox Mommy reader. To enter please answer the following:

How will you help Yoplait in the fight against breast cancer? I do eat Yoplait and will send in the lids but the greatest way I can help in the fight is my job. Im an ultrasound tech. I scan breast each day. By finding it early we can save many lives.

Thanks for letting us know about this cause. I usually stick to the more generic brands of yogurt but will look for this.

Find Smart Buy prices, nutritional information and coupons at SmartShopIt.com for Yoplait yogurts.
