Make a K'NEXion video contest & review

Team Mom has done it once again, they've provided my children with something fun. This time it's the Neighborhood Collection Police Station Building Set from K'NEX. My daughters have enjoyed K'NEX toys in the past and the Sesame Street sets are no exception. And the one we were sent couldn't be any more perfect for our family since my husband is a State Trooper. Any law enforcement themed toy is pretty cool in our opinion.

What do I love about these K'NEX building sets? I love that they foster creativity. My kids can build and then do role play with the characters, both things my children love with any toys. I also love the bright colors and the familiar Sesame Street characters that I grew up loving.

What do I not love so much? I don't like how the parts don't always stay together, but when little kids are playing I think it would be difficult for them if they did stick together too tightly. So I guess this is both a negative and a positive with these particular toys.

These building sets come in more than the Police Station variety, you can also purchase the 1-2-3 Brownstone Building Set, Ice Cream Truck Building Set and the Police Car Building Set. They have a suggested retail value of $9.99 - $19.99 and are available at Target, Walmart and Toys "R" Us.

And now...K'NEX wants to give someone $1,000 worth of K'NEX building sets. That's right...$1,000! Just think of all the fun your kids could have building with all those sets. Wow! So how can you win this? You make a video (at least 30 seconds long, but no longer than 3 minutes) of your child/children playing with select K'NEX building sets. Ten (10) finalists will be chosen and one (1) of those will be the winner. Visit www.knex.com for full details. Good luck if you decide to enter the "Make a K'NEXion" video contest! (This is not a giveaway on Red Sox Mommy, please enter at www.knex.com)

We received the Neighborhood Collection Police Station Building Set to review from Team Mom and K'NEX. The opinion expressed is my own.
