Green Works Laundry

I'm a mom (obviously), which means one task that's always on my "to-do list" is laundry, laundry and more laundry. I swear, since my first daughter was born I've never been able to get all caught up. It seems as soon as I do some laundry the amount left to wash has doubled. And along with all that laundry come messes and stains. So when Mom Central approached me about trying Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent and Stain Remover I was more than happy to accept. In fact, I've been a fan of Green Works products for awhile and even used their Natural Multi-Surface Cleaner to mop my kitchen floor this morning.

The day after my samples arrived my daughters both came down with this nasty stomach bug that's been working it's way through our area. We had a looooooong night of much throwing up, which meant I had a LOT of icky laundry to take care of. One of the items that became stained that night was my daughter's favorite blanket, the one she sleeps with every night...seriously, the one item that I never want anything to happen to because of the almost guaranteed tantrums if it's gone. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to test the Green Works Stain Remover out. So I sprayed every nasty stained piece of that blanket and threw it in the wash. I'm happy to report that her blanket is back to being white and pink and blue instead of a mass of stained ickiness. (I thought about taking pictures, but figured nobody wanted to see throw-up stains, lol!)

I've used the Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent for several loads of laundry now and it seems to be working. Our clothes look and smell clean. I like the scent, it's light and refreshing, definitely not overpowering.
