Hallmark gift ideas

Hallmark is one of my favorite companies. They have quality products, treat their employees well and bring all around good feelings to everyone. With all the commercials on around the holidays promoting every toy imaginable under the sun it's hard to know what to get for your kids. Especially if you're kids are anything like mine and ask for every single thing they see on t.v. But I can tell you, while you may not see 5,298,147 commercials for Hallmark toys, they do make some pretty cool toys for creative little minds.

I was privy to a few items still in the preliminary stages when I was at Hallmark earlier this year. My daughters have since received the final versions to test out and enjoy. The first of these fun toys in an adorable little doll named Shara Tiara. She comes complete with three crowns that make a magical little chime when you place them on her plush head. Along with the Shara Tiara doll you can get her frog friend, who also has a tiara that makes a magical sound. And if you're wondering just who this Shara Tiara and her froggy friend are, then you're in luck! Hallmark has a delightful book that tells their story. And I'm gonna have to say, Shara Tiara is my kind of princess. She loves playing baseball! She's active and sporty and a kind of princess unlike most others you find in stories. She's the perfect princess for active little girls. There's even a game where little ones work to be the first to add all the jewels to their tiaras. It's a lot of fun!

The next toy and game we received is one my daughters both love. In fact, they fight over it! It's this super cute little plush pug all decked out in accessories that can be removed for lots of dress up fun. It even has a tiara that's magnetic so it stays in place on the pug's head. My daughters just love their little pug, they names her "Princess Ruff Ruff" and love to take her everywhere, even to bed!

This sweet little pug isn't the only item in the Hug-a-Pug line of products. There's also a fun little Hug-a-Pug bingo game. It's perfect for preschoolers who match the dogs on their bingo cards to the ones on the dog collar cards. When they get a match they place a paw-print bingo chip on their card. The first one to get three in a row wins. My 4 year old LOVES playing this and gets so excited when she wins. I love how confident it makes her feel!

Hallmark has taken a spin on a classic game with the last item sent to my daughters. It's "Tea Party Smarty!" a memory game that has little ones matching up pairs of cards, the one with the most pairs at the end wins.

So if you're wondering to get your daughter for Christmas I'd definitely suggest checking out what Hallmark has to offer. They have so much fun stuff that's high quality and are sure to please.

My daughters received the above products to help facilitate this review. The thoughts and opinions expressed are our own.
