My happiness

I know this probably sounds silly, but the items in the picture below make me really happy. I've wanted a shelf for my living room for a really, really, really long time! It seems that for most of our marriage we've been either somewhere too small to do much decorating (our decor was always Red Sox, but now I have a family room for that...I finally get a "grown up" living room) or there was that whole 18 months we lived with my mom to save some money while my husband finished school. But for Christmas my mom took me to Hobby Lobby (AWESOME store!) to get some home decor items. I got all the stuff in the picture (minus the LOVE sign...I've had that forever) plus a few other things. My husband painted the shelf for me and we put this up yesterday. I love it! It really makes our living room feel more homey and nice.
