I had a lot of plans today, that included writing a review. However, I got a bee in my bonnet. I was in the middle of cleaning the living room, which had boxes of Christmas stuff still sitting there from when we decorated a couple weeks ago (give me a break, I've been more than a little down since the miscarriage which happened around the time we decorated). So I went to the garage to put them away and suddenly just had to get it in order. I, along with my husband who I recruited to help, spent the next who knows how long going through boxes, condensing things into a smaller number of boxes, throwing things away, organizing and getting it all put away so we can fit our car in there if we so desire. I'm so happy to have finally gotten that done. It's been bugging me since we moved in here back in September. Now I know what's in which box/tote and have room for our car. Plus, now I have BIG plans for a yard sale in the Spring. We have a lot of stuff that we could definitely get rid of and it's not crap, it's just stuff we don't need. I'm so ready to declutter things. (Have I mentioned how sick I am of things lately? Well, I am...so there.)
After I was done with that I still needed to get the living room in order. The closet in there was stacked floor to ceiling with boxes from when we moved in. So...I went through those too and what was left I found room for in my newly organized garage. Then I did the normal dusting and vacuuming and picking up of ornaments that the girls had taken off the tree.
But I also had plans to do the dishes, since I like having those all done daily. So I did those and talked my husband into making dinner for the girls (he's so awesome!) while I swept and put some things away. He and I have also spent much of that organizing time discussing the Red Sox and all their off-season trades. Some trades I'm pretty excited about like the potential, almost certain acquisition of John Lackey who will join an already amazing pitching rotation (Hello...they have Beckett and Lester and Dice-K and Wakefield, just sayin'). Others I'm more than a little crushed about like the fact that they're not picking Jason Bay up for another season. Gah! I'm on pins and needles waiting to see what becomes of Mike Lowell.
Anyway...
Our Home Teachers (they're from church) came over and visited then I made dinner for my husband and myself while he gave the girls a bath. Now they're in bed and I'm finally able to write a post, but it's late enough that I don't have the energy to write a review. So it will have to wait...I'm off to shower and cuddle with my husband and a movie.
Hope you all had a good day! I love days like today when a lot gets done.
