It's been 15 days since my miscarriage. I still think about all the what ifs every day. It still hurts. I try to stay distracted, having 2 young kids does help with that. But often I feel so overcome with sadness.
This song has been running though my head a lot lately (although not this version, but come on Harry is amazing!), it's like the motto of my life at this point:

There is no real time frame when recovering from the loss of someone, but you may want to ask those around you to monitor your moods and if they feel like you are pulling away, let you know. Sometimes it can help to talk to someone who has been in your shoes, or a counselor or anyone who can just listen. I am thinking of you...
And besides the actual loss, you are at risk for post-partum depression after a miscarriage - your hormones can be wacky.
Don't ask how I know this ;)

It will take time to get over what you have lost. However, take each day at a time, and I truly hope that things get better soon.
I'm so sorry about your miscarriage. As someone who has been through that as well, I know how sad it can be. Keep listening to Harry--this too shall pass.
((hugs))
You need to take as much time as you need. Just let yourself feel what you need to feel and don't always feel compelled to be distracted. If you keep pushing it away its still going to be there nagging you, instead of becoming a part of who you are.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss, but be assured that your child is waiting on you to join them on our Heavenly Father's lap in His Kingdom of Heaven. Hopefully, thinking about that may ease the pain some.
I am so sorry you are struggling. Don't TRY to get over anything, just let yourself grieve. I love this song, too. And your little one is still in your heart and with your family this Christmas, I am positive of this.
