Still pretty distracted

So I had another test at the doctor's office yesterday and got the results of the tests done on Monday. The results from Monday's tests were pretty inconclusive, but yesterday's results were a little more hopeful. Right now I'm on some medication and I go back next Wednesday to see if they're working. I'm still pretty distracted about the whole thing, I still have all the symptoms so the medication doesn't seem to be doing anything yet.

But I NEED to get stuff done. Hopefully later today I'll be back with another post. But who knows. Someone from church is coming over later to check out our Wii and Wii Fit. He's thinking of getting both for his family for Christmas but wants to check them out first and heard we have them. So I'm trying to get some cleaning done. I've spent so much time resting since I got sick on Friday that my family room and living room need a little lot of TLC (where do my kids find all these toys?!?!?!). Today's as good a day as any to get that kind of stuff done anyway, it's snowing like crazy outside! My husband got called into work early at 4:45am when a bus slid off the road. When I talked to him around 9am he was on his SECOND accident since that bus. I have a feeling Winters out in this part of the state are worse than where we moved from. I'm just glad I don't have anywhere I need to be today, we have plenty of groceries, diapers, wipes, etc. We don't need any air filters, medicine (any more than we already have, of course), blankets, etc. So I get to stay all nice and cozy inside...good thing we had our propane tank filled (part way) on Monday...no fear of losing heat.

Hmmmm...maybe I'll bake something. It would smell delicious and would definitely keep me distracted from these health issues that have totally dominated my mind for almost a week now.

I'll keep you in my prayers. Take care of yourself and take it easy. Baking something might be good...plus you'll be working with your sense of smell and that does a lot (when its a good smell) to lift your spirit.

Bake something yummy smelling like cinammon. Or something that reminds you of home. I always cook chicken soup or spaghetti when I need some comfort time.
