Wow...really?

Is it really the 12th of December? Where has this month gone? I can't believe how quickly it's flying...but really, I'm not feeling all that merry and jolly this year and would love to just be shipped off to hide away in some Caribbean hotels or something until this whole happy happy joy joy month is over. But, you know, that like takes money and stuff. ;) So I'll sit here and be grateful that we have highs in the 40s instead of the single digits...yeah, it's downright balmy!

Also...I love my mom, but she really made me stop and go, "Wow...really?" today. You see, my cousin's wife had a baby this morning. It's their third and I guess they're planning to be done with babies now. So my mom asks me, "You're not done, right?"

Now normally this wouldn't be a "Wow...really?" kind of question. But considering I had a miscarriage 8 days ago it was one of those questions that I couldn't believe I was being asked. I've talked to her almost daily since it happened. She KNOWS I want another baby, that this was the hardest thing I've had to deal with in my life. I'm going to chalk it up to her having a ditsy moment, but "Wow...really?"
