Seventh Generation *giveaway*

Spring has finally and officially arrived here in Colorado and the cleaning bug has hit my house. In fact, this morning I spent hours cleaning our house and purging items that we just don't need. I opened windows and let the fresh air in. It was great and I'm loving my freshened up home.

One thing that's made this Spring cleaning a little easier is the gift pack I received from Seventh Generation, through MyBlogSpark, that included non-toxic, environmentally friendly cleaning products. I found their light scents to be refreshing, unlike the overpowering odor that often accompanies traditional cleaning products. They were as easy to use as cleaning products I've used in the past, which is a must. I'm a busy mom, I don't have time for anything too complex when it comes to my cleaning routines.

For the past twenty years Seventh Generation has been bringing their "responsible cleaning" products to homes all over. They've taken the herb thyme and have tapped into it's disinfecting powers. These products are safe to use around children and on children's products like highchairs and even toys, which is another must for any product I use in my home.

Seventh Generation has branched out by teaming up with eco-lifestyle consultant and author Alexandra Zissu to bring you the book The Conscious Kitchen. This book brings you advice on what's good for your health, the planet and what tastes good too. I believe this book is a great tool if you're looking to become more earth friendly.

One Red Sox Mommy reader will be the lucky winner of a gift pack like the one pictured below. It includes a Seventh Generation disinfecting multi-surface cleaner, a bathroom cleaner, Seventh Generation wipes, a copy of The Conscious Kitchen, a cleaning caddy made from recycled plastic and two rolls of 100% recycled, unbleached paper towels.

To enter just leave a comment on this post telling me what you do to keep your family safe from chemicals.

The winner's address will be given to the sponsor so they can mail out the prize pack.

Opinions expressed are my own. See product labels and website for full details on how their products work to clean and disinfect.
