Baking, baking, baking

I've had a busy day baking and it's not done yet. And you know what? I don't even like baking that much. I like cooking, especially trying new recipes, but baking just isn't as fun for me. But tonight at a church activity we did a recipe swap and I made some rolls and had to make two batches to make sure I had enough. And now I have to make a cake for a funeral tomorrow. I don't even know the person that died, but was asked to make the cake by someone at church and I felt bad saying "no" so I said I would. I'm kind of regretting it now because I'm so tired, but off I go to make it.

One good thing did come out of tonight, I learned to make chicken salad. I know, it's simple, but I'd just never bothered to try. But it was so easy and I totally want to go out and buy all the ingredients for it. So get ready grocery store cashier, get your barcode scanner ready because I'll be there on pay day and I will be buying these ingredients!
