Pillsbury and Walmart Bake-Off *giveaway*

I'm always on the lookout for new recipes to try. It's how we've found some of our favorite go to recipes that we make over and over again. I've made up a few recipes myself. Some are good, most are nothing to write home about. But there are some seriously talented people out there who are coming up with fun new recipes. Currently Pillsbury is having their 45th Bake Off contest, when you visit you can find 100 new recipes just waiting to be tried and tested. There are breakfasts and brunches, appetizer, dinners, and desserts. All using various Pillsbury products.

Walmart has many if not all these items available like Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls, Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls, Pillsbury Pie Crust, and Pillsbury Cookies. The recipe I opted to try used Pillsbury refrigerated cookie dough, which was right there in stock. Are you thinking of trying some of these recipes? The recipe I tried was Chocolate-Hazelnut_Coconut Bars, submitted by Teresa Berkey in Hanover, New Hampshire. They sounded decadent and rich. They were definitely rich! My mom was visiting when I made these and she loved them! She wants the recipe (hint mom, click the link above) so she can make it for one of her clubs. My oldest thought they were great, my husband liked them and I thought they were good, but too rich for me. But hey, I learned how to toast coconut and I love coconut!
