In a funk...

I don't know what's going on, but I just don't feel like writing these days...or reading either.  I'm feeling utterly overwhelmed with life in general.  I haven't talked on here about what's going on in our lives this year...and I'm still not going to.  I hate being cryptic, but some things just don't need to be shared...but I will when it's time and those who actually know us in real life know what's going on, so that's what matters.  That's one of MANY reasons why I'll never be a big name blogger, I'm not willing to share every minute detail of my life.  Just know, this year is hard...we're four months in...I'm cracking.

(Just know...our marriage is fine, our kids are fine, our faith is strong, our health is good)

In unrelated "news," it's Miller Moth season here in southern Colorado...I friggin' hate these things! They're everywhere.  They give you a break during the day, but come night they show up.  You kill one (if you're against killing bugs, you and I would never be friends) and then suddenly another shows up.  If one happens to show up before the kids have gone to bed I know I'm in for a rough night.  My 4 year old WILL have a nightmare about them and I will be up comforting her.

Also, baby girl (13 months) slept through the WHOLE night twice this week.  This is HUGE! She usually wakes up at least once during the night, wants to nurse, then sleeps the rest of the night with me.  Last night she did wake up, but after nursing she did not want to stay with me.  This is awesome! I never sleep well if she's in our bed, it makes me too nervous.

My 6 (almost 7...just a few short weeks away) year old is excelling in piano.  She started doing Piano Marvel back around Valentine's Day as well as taking lessons.  She loves it and her teacher is impressed with how quickly she's progressing.

And my post prior to this tells you how my middle monkey is doing.  She's hard.  Really, really hard.  Clerks at stores comment about it.  Grandparents comment about it.  People at church comment about it.  She tries my patience and sanity daily.

My husband is doing awesome at work.  He switched positions recently, although is still a trooper.  He loves what he's doing now and his bosses are happy with him.

Nothing is really new with me. I wake up, take care of kids, attempt to get housework done, exercise when they're asleep, shower and sleep.

I will keep your family in my prayers for whatever struggles you're going through, God knows. I hate moths! My daughter found a big one in the bathroom yesterday, and we were both too scared to kill it. So, we shut the door and waited for my husband and son to come home from fishing so they could kill it. :)
