Yes, I'm still alive!
I kind of love this not blogging thing. I'm so rarely online anymore...I'm actually doing stuff, real life stuff. Lol! But, some people *cough* family *cough* want updates.
We're in our fourth week of homeschooling with our middle daughter. It's going pretty well, but it has had its tough moments for sure.
Our house is officially on the market. There's been a little interest in it, so we'll keep our fingers crossed and hope a real offer comes in soon.
Our oldest is loving second grade! She's a little smarty pants, she brought home a packet of completed assignments for the school year so far and everything was "A" work! :)
My weight loss is going pretty well. I haven't updated my other blog either...oops! But I've lost a little over 15 pounds since returning from vacation in mid-July. It's slow, some times slower than others, but it's coming off. I'm the "smallest" right now than I've been since becoming a mom. I'm working on the first trimester weight from my oldest. Unfortunately I put on 25 pounds in the first trimester with her (shameful, I know). But I'm working on "baby" weight, not BABIES weight. So it's progress. I'm running almost daily, doing Zumba at least once a week and today I'll do day 16 of Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I can't recommend that dvd enough, half way through and I've lost 5 inches already!!! And I'm using the MyFitnessPal app on my phone...that has been what has helped the most! It really made me aware of how much I eat and what I eat.
My youngest is always fun (the picture of her above has nothing to do with this post, but posts need pictures and it's a cute one my father-in-law took this summer). She's into EVERYTHING!!! She'll be old enough this Sunday to attend the Nursery class at our church. We've had her in there for a few weeks though already...he he he.
My husband is still loving his job. He's resigned himself to the fact that the Red Sox are sucking it up big time this year and has moved his focus onto the Patriots. Lol! I am NOT a Pats fan however...Go Broncos!!!
That's about it from here. I know I still have more vacation photos to share and a huge rant about Six Flags New England to include in that. But in the meantime, just know, that if you're in New England and you want to go to an amusement park...SKIP SIX FLAGS NEW ENGLAND!!! Worst amusement park experience in the history of the world!!! Don't believe me? Google reviews of that place. Wish we had before we went. We googled them that night when we got back...wow, just wow! Go to Canobie Lake Park in Southern New Hampshire instead. Cleaner, more family friendly, friendlier and more helpful staff, more affordable, free parking...this list could go on and on.
